Level II —Shamanic Training
Prerequisite: Level I Basic Journey Skills
Shamanic Healing and Training (Level II) focuses on skills and techniques in core shamanism.
Some of the key topics covered in Level II include extraction, death and dying, divination, power animal retrieval, energy filling techniques, and telepathic communication. This course fosters an understanding of shamanic principles, and advances your abilities to perform healing practices on your self, others, and the earth.
You will be drawn deeper into a community of people who have strong relationships with the spirits and are learning to strengthen that connection on behalf of healing.
In this course you will learn how to care for the soul-- either for yourself or for others. As with all of LightSong’s courses, Level II is based on the knowing that the soul constantly needs attention. You will also advance your awareness of how we lose and gain energy continually, and how to exert more control over this ebb and flow. In this way, we become healthier.
Complete healing is possible when all parts of the human experience are energetically adjusted: spirit, mind and body. Level II focuses on learning how to utilize the spirits and intention to bring the spirit, mind and body into energetic alignment, and how to accomplish this with others.
LV2 is offered two ways. An 18 month series, which meets once a month for 18 months or two one week Residential in the spring and fall. Plus practicum. LV2 is required for Certification.
